Yesterday’s Career Employment & AI workshop was a real eye-opener, especially the AI session. Alina V, an amazing AI expert, asked thought-provoking questions like, “Who decides the implementation of AI?” and “What is the outcome or impact of AI in the hands of the wrong people?” She delved into the ethics of AI and so much more, providing a profound learning experience for all the delegates.

Then, there was Dr. Sunday Popoola, a Civil Engineer and Lecturer at Imperial College London. His passion for coaching and equipping young people is mind-blowing. His charisma and authenticity are just incredible. He even stayed behind to listen to my session on career employment and various employment routes. He appreciated my passion for providing support and help and gave me invaluable feedback. Guess what? He said he has never heard anyone break down the steps of navigating employment like I did and offered me a slot in his already scheduled event!

For the delegates, it was clear what they took away from the workshop. They wanted more sessions like this. There were so many questions, and the organiser’s are already planning the next one.

I found myself a very worthy mentor in Dr. Popoola and can’t wait to continue this journey of learning and sharing
